Deepika Padukone became mother almost 6 years after her wedding to actor Ranveer Singh. The duo announced their pregnancy in February, 2024 with an Instagram post that consisted of baby clothes, mittens, socks, hats of blue and pink color. They have further announced the arrival of the baby in September, 2024.

After they have welcomed their baby, the duo took to Instagram and broke the news in front of the world, and wrote, "Welcome Baby Girl," and wrote, "8.9.2024"
