Oscars 2025 Entries: Swatantrya Veer Savarkar becomes another official entry of India for the 97th Academy awards after Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies. The Film Federation of India has officially submitted the film as one of the entries for the Oscars 2024. The producers of the films, Sandeep Singh, Anand Pandit, Randeep Hooda are excited after knowing it and called it a 'tremendous recognition' for their film. They have also extended wishes to Kiran Rao for Laapataa Ladies.

In a collaborative post, they wrote, "Honored and humbled! Our film SwatantryaVeer Savarkar has officially been submitted for the Oscars.
