Poonam Pandey Death: Last month, the whole country came together and promoted Indian tourism and social media was abuzz that Indian's should visit Lakshadweep and not Maldives. During this time, many Indian celebs had supported PM Narendra Modi's initiative of Indian tourism, and had said that they would love to visit Lakshadweep. Many Indians cancelled their tickets to Maldives and one of them was Poonam Pandey.

Poonam was supposed to travel to Maldives for a shoot, and at the end moment she decided to cancel the shoot there and wanted to shoot in Lakshadweep. The actress on her Instagram had posted a picture of a WhatsApp chat with a production person.

She captioned the post as, "I love shooting in Maldives but I will never shoot in Maldives again. When I was scheduled to shoot my next shoot in Maldives, I told my team that I will not Fly if this shoot gets stuck in Maldives. Fortunately, they agreed and now hoping to shoot in lakshadweep. #cancelledshoot #NationFirst #ExploreIndianIsland @narendramodi."

After the news of her demise, Poonam's Instagram posts are going viral. A day before the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, she was on the road on her bike and had shared on Instagram, "Can't believe the wait of 500 years is finally coming to an end! The grand #RamMandirPranPrathistha is just a few hours away. Excitement level through the roof!"

The actress' demise has shocked one and all as earlier there were no reports of her suffering for cervical cancer.

Poonam Pandey's Team Statement On Her Death

Her team shared a statement on her Instagram which read, "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared."
