Poonam Pandey's death has come as a shock to one and all. The actress passed away last night due to cervical cancer, and this morning, a statement about the same was posted on her Instagram account. Initially, everyone thought that it's fake news and maybe her account has been hacked. However, later her manager and PR confirmed the sad news.
Filmibeat interacted with actress Jyoti Saxena about Poonam's demise, and she told us, "I extend my deepest condolences to her family. May love and strength surround them during this difficult time. The memory of her pure soul will forever linger in our hearts. It's really hard to believe, but through this I would let everyone know that please focus on your health, give it a priority, and be happy. Because you never know what and when will happen to you."
Many Bollywood and TV celebs have posted about Poonam's demise on social media. Munawar Faruqui, who recently won Bigg Boss 17, was with Poonam in the show Lock Upp. He tweeted, "Shocking! can't process the news Poonam was great human being. Sad. RIP."
The post shared by her team on Instagram reads, "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared."
Poonam was last seen in a series titled Honeymoon Suite Room no. 911 which also starred Rrahul Sudhir and Yuvika Chaudhary.
