A video is currently doing the rounds on the internet in which a man, said to be Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, has been captured hitting his house help.

Reportedly, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his musical prowess, is seen in a new light in the video, indulging in a violence against his employee, and subjecting him to physical assaults. As per the viral video, the well-known Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is seen demanding alcohol and subsequently physically assaulting his servant in front of a group of men, with no intervention from anyone else.

Fans are voicing their shock and sadness over the incident, expressing disappointment with the behavior of the renowned singer, who has built a respectable image in the public eye. Reacting to it, a social media user wrote, We all love his singing... but this man is so cruel from inside ....tough to believe but its a fact now (thumbs down emojis) Buzdili issi ko kehte hain."

Another wrote, "Nasha amnushya ka naash kar deta hai."

So far, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan hasn't yet reacted to the ongoing controversy.

For those who are not aware, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan made his playback singing debut in Bollywood with Paap (2003), with the song Mann Ki Lagan. He then went on to deliver hits like Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye, Bol Na Halke Halke, Jag Soona Soona Laage, Jag Ghoomeya, and Dekhte Dekhte among others.
