Rajesh Roshan Accused Of Sexual Harassment By Bengali Singer Lagnajita Chakraborty On Podcast

In one of the latest episodes of the podcast 'Straight Up With Shree', Bengali Singer Lagnajita Chakraborty accused popular music director Rajesh Roshan of sexually harassing her. The clip of her accusing Rajesh Roshan is shared on both the podcasts' as well as the singer's Instagram handle and can be watched below.

In the clip, Chakraborty had the following to say, "When I used to live in Bombay, he (Rajesh Roshan) had called me to meet him in Santa Cruz and I went to his house. I sat down and he was sitting there as well. There were pianos and other instruments everywhere. By then, I had sung quite a few advertisement jingles. In front of him there was an open iPad. He told me, 'Sing something.' So I was searching for myself on YouTube. I was wearing a skirt at the time. As I was typing, I noticed that he was slowly moving closer to me. He kept approaching and I thought 'Let's see how far he comes and what he does.' Without any further ado, you won't believe this, it's awkward to even say this on camera, but he just slipped his hand inside my skirt as if it was nothing!'

She stated further that after the incident, she said nothing and left, and that Rajesh Roshan is just one of many such people in the music industry that exhibit such behaviour behind closed doors. She didn't take any more names during the podcast.

So far, neither Rajesh Roshan nor his family such as his brother, Rakesh Roshan, and his nephew, Hrithik Roshan, have made any comments in response to Lagnajita Chakraborty claims.
