Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: Akshay Kumar To SKIP Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony; Here’s Why

After the immense buzz and the grand level preparations, the day of Ram Mandir inauguration is here. Yes! It is the day of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the Pran Pratishtha ceremony is expected to begin at 12:30 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As the nation is gearing up Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, the event will be attended by several renowned politicians, sportspersons, businessmen etc.
In fact, big shots from the Bollywood industry have also been flying to Ayodhya to be a part of the pran-pratishtha ceremony. The list includes Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, Rohit Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Yash, Madhuri Dixit, Vivek Oberoi, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan etc. Among these, Akshay Kumar was also invited to the inauguration ceremony. However, the Khiladi Kumar will reportedly be skipping the mega event.
According to media reports, Akshay will be skipping the Ram Mandir pran-pratishtha ceremony owing to his work commitments for his upcoming movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and is currently shooting in Jordan for the same. According to a report published in ETimes, a source stated, "Akshay Kumar has told the organiser of the function about his prior commitment with the producersof the film and as it is a combination shoot may not be able to attend the event".
Interestingly, Akshay and Tiger have shared best wishes on the special day and shared a video on social media. The video was captioned as, "श्री राम की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के पावन दिन पर आप सब को अनेक शुभकामनाएँ। जय श्री राम".
To note, Bade Miyan Chota Miyan happens to be Ali Abbas Zafar directorial and also features Tiger Shroff in the lead. The movie is slated to release on Eid this year.
