Lara Dutta Role In Ramayana: Lara Dutta recently revealed in an interview about her role in Ramayana. Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming movie has been much in talk ever since the photos from set went viral on social media. Amid the photos going viral, there has been rumors that Lara Dutta is playing the role of Kaikeyi in the upcoming movie. However, it remains to be seen how much there is truth in the claims. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead role as Lord Ram and Sita. Moreover, Ramayana is filled with other famed stars as well.

WHAT ROLE IS LARA DUTTA PLAYING IN RAMAYANA?

Some of the cast members role in the movie Ramayana has already been revealed, but there are some stars whose character in the movie remains to be unveiled. Answering the big question whether Lara Dutta is playing Kaikeyi in Ramayana, actress replies, "I am hearing it a lot as well. I am leaving the rumours out there." Teasing her fans, Lara added, "I also like reading and hearing about them so please continue." She then claimed, "Who wouldn't want to be a part of Ramayana?" Lara continued to teaser her fans in an interview with Indian Express, saying, "There were so many characters I would have loved to play if it was offered to me, Surpanakha, Mandodari, I am playing them all."

Until now, it has been revealed that Ranbir Kapoor is playing Lord Ram along with Sai Pallavi as Sita. Besides these, Arun Govil will be seen in the role of Dashratha, Yash as Ravana, Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Indira Krishnan as Kausalaya.

The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is penned down by Namit Malhotra and Shridhar Raghavan. Meanwhile, Ramayana is co-produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra.
