According to media reports, Deepika gave birth to a baby girl today (September 9) a day after Ganesh Chaturthi. For the uninitiated, Deepika was admitted to hospital in Mumbai yesterday evening and Ranveer was also spotted at the hospital later along with his family.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer Singh announced the arrival of his little princess in the most adorable way. He shared a note which had a golden ribbon with a bow. The note stated, "Welcome Baby Girl! 8.9.2024. Deepika & Ranveer". Ever since then, the proud parents have been showered with immense love from fans across the world.

As fans have been quite excited about the arrival of Ranveer and Deepika's daughter, they have come up with adorable nick names for the little princess. A fan took to the comment section and wrote, "Chhoti mastani aa gyi", while another user wrote, "Junior Deepika". One of the Instagram users also wrote, " Gauri aayi hai" and another fan suggested the name "Deera".

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's upcoming directorial Singham Again which also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead. In fact, Deepika will be seen playing the role of a cop for the first time in Singham Again as Shakti Shetty aka Lady Singham. To note, Singham Again is likely to be out on Diwali this year.
