On August 9, 2023, filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar officially announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh. Introducing Singh as the 'new' don, he shared an intriguing video and captined it, "A New Era Begins. #Don3"

The casting update had sparked both excitement and debate. A certain section of the netizens were unhappy with Ranveer replacing SRK in the third part.

During Raneer's latest appearance on Koffee With Karan S8, when he was asked about the same, the actor stated, "Ek chance dedo, 12-13 saal me thik thak hi kaam kiya hai maine, toh ak mauka to banta hai"

Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the leading lady in Don 3.

Ranveer Singh-Kiara Advani To Shoot For Don 3 At THESE Exotic International Locations

According to latest reports, Don 3 is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. The makers are apparently planning to wrap up the shoot by December 2024.

As per a Dainik Bhasker report, Ranveer-Kiara will shoot for Don 3 in the picturesque locations of London and Germany.

"A few days ago, Farhan Akhtar reached London with the core team to finalize shooting locations for Don 3," a source close to the development informed the daily.

It is said that majority of the high-octane action sequences will be shot in London and Germany.

"Apart from London, the production team will also be heading to Germany. It's possible that filming might extend to other German cities as well," the source added.

However, Farhan and his team are yet to officially confirm the same.
