RIP Vikas Sethi: Vikas Sethi, who is known for playing versatile roles in movies and daily soaps, passed away on September 8 at the age 48. The actor, who had played prominent roles in Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, among others, had also made a mark in Bollywood with popular movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Oops! among others.
However, among all of these, one role that has made a significant mark in audience's heart is his role as 'Robbie', who used to hit Poo(Kareena Kapoor's character) in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. But do you know the role was initially offered to a prominent Bollywood actor by Karan Johar?

Well, not many is aware of the fact that Vikas' role, Robbie, in K3G was originally offered to John Abraham, who hadn't made his debut in Bollywood back then, by Karan Johar. Years later, when John appeared in Koffee With Karan alongside Vivek Oberoi, John opened up about the same.
On the other hand, Vikas' role in the movie, 'jispe college ki har ladki marti hain', albeit short, made a significant impact even in today's generation. His iconic dialogue "Hey Poo, movie tonight?" is still famous in reels and on social media.
Vikas Sethi Death Reason
Vikas Sethi peacefully died in his sleep followed by a cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife Jhanvi Sethi and their twin sons, whom they welcomed in 2021. Sharing the picture of his babies, he wrote, "A baby is god's opinion that life should go on.........hip hip hurry."
