Exclusive! Saiee Manjrekar On Bollywood Parties, "It's Not Like If You Go To A Party, You Will Get A Role"

Saiee Manjrekar left a mark this year with her performance in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film didn't do well at the box office, but the actress' performance was appreciated a lot. Filmibeat recently interacted with Saiee and spoke to her about her movies, and a lot more. While Saiee is the daughter of actor-director, Mahesh Manjrekar, we don't get to see her much at Bollywood parties.

When asked her why she has kept herself away from attending the B-Town parties, the actress said, "I don't like partying, it is not about Bollywood or non Bollywood. I hate partying outside my house. For me, parties have always been like my friends come home, we blast Hindi music and we dance. Going to a club, trying to socialise in a party, and talk to them when there's so much music I can't do that."

"I genuinely don't enjoy that vibe. I don't enjoy going to the club where I can't see people properly and then to talk to someone you have to scream at the top of your voice. I am like let's meet for dinner and talk, and then let's dance," she added.

Well, a few weeks ago an actress' interview went viral talking about not getting roles because she didn't attend Bollywood parties.

When asked Saiee if she feels that attending partis helps in getting roles, the actress said, "I don't know how much truth is there. It's like a very one of chances that you go to a party, probably director sees you in a different light and he is like 'oh she can do the part'. But, that can happen anywhere; to be at the right place at the right time is the most important thing, so if that is the right place then yes, and if not then no. It's not like hard and fast thing that if you go to a party, so you will get the role."

Saiee will next be seen in a pan-India film titled The India House which also stars Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead roles. The actress in our interview also revealed that she will start working on another film soon but can't reveal about it.
