Saiee
Manjrekar,
daughter
of
veteran
actor
and
filmmaker,
Mahesh
Manjrekar,
made
her
acting
debut
opposite
Salman
Khan
in
Dabangg
3.
While
the
film
didn't
do
a
great
business
at
the
box
office,
Saiee's
performance
in
it
was
appreciated.
After
Dabangg
3,
Saiee
turned
her
ways
towards
Telugu
film
industry
and
starred
in
movies
Ghani,
Major
(Telugu-Hindi
bilingual),
and
Skanda.
Now,
after
five
years,
she
is
doing
a
proper
Bollywood
movie
titled
Kuch
Khattaa
Ho
Jaay.
Kuch
Khattaa
Ho
Jaay
marks
singer
Guru
Randhawa's
acting
debut,
and
the
trailer
and
the
songs
have
grabbed
everyone's
attention.
Filmibeat
recently
spoke
to
Saiee,
and
when
asked
her
why
she
is
doing
a
Bollywood
film
after
five
years,
the
actress
said,
"It
was
sometimes
a
consious
decision
and
most
times
not.
I
don't
think
much.
But,
whatever
came
and
resonated
with
me
the
most
and
I
felt
that
I
need
to
do
this,
I
did.
Co-incidently
those
were
South
films
and
I
really
enjoyed
doing
them."
"It
wasn't
a
consious
decision
that
after
five
years
I
have
to
do
a
purely
Bollywood
film.
But,
I
feel
that
language
has
never
been
a
barrier,
my
father
has
done
a
film
in
every
language
I
think.
He
has
always
told
me
that
language
should
never
be
a
barrier
and
you
should
let
your
craft
do
the
talking
for
you
and
I
think
that
somewhere
really
sat
with
me
for
a
long
time.
I
was
only
picking
scripts
in
which
I
have
a
meaty
role," she
added.
Apart
from
Kuch
Khattaa
Ho
Jaay,
Saiee
has
Neeraj
Pandey's
Auron
Mein
Kahan
DumTha
lined
up
which
also
stars
Ajay
Devgn,
Tabu,
and
Jimmy
Sheirgill
in
the
lead
role.
The
movie
is
slated
to
release
on
26th
April
2024.
Directed
by
G
Ashok,
Kuch
Khattaa
Ho
Jaay
is
slated
to
release
on
16th
February
2024.
