Saif Ali Khan hospitalised: Actor Saif Ali Khan underwent a tricep surgery today, January 22, in Mumbai. The 53-year-old actor was admitted to the city's Kokilaben Hospital, and it has been learned that he underwent tricep surgery for an old injury that was triggered as he performed an action sequence for his new project.
As per reports, the Adipurush star had sustained a knee injury some years ago, and the surgery was related to the same. Saif is now doing fine and is currently in recovery mode, media report suggested.

According to a report by India Today, Saif Ali Khan underwent tricep surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital. The report stated that it was a minor surgery but a long-pending one.
The media outlet also mentioned that the actor is doing well now and is currently recuperating from the surgery. The actor's wife and actress, Kareena Kapoor, has reportedly been by Saif's side at the hospital.
Talking to the outlet about the surgery, the Hum Tum actor thanked doctors and said, "This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern."
Not long ago, several media reports suggested that Saif had sustained knee and shoulder injuries during the shooting of his upcoming Telugu movie, Devara. The tricep surgery was because of an old injury that got worse while performing an action sequence in the film.
Saif Ali Khan had endured multiple injuries while shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, which also starred Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor. At that time, he was spotted wearing crepe bandages multiple times, as he had hurt his thumb and also injured his ankle when he was filming the climax scene.
Workwise, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Om Raut's directorial Adipurush. He played Lankesh in the mythological drama, which also starred Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. Up next, he will be seen in Devara, marking his Telugu industry debut. The film stars Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
