Saira Banu Health Update: Legendary actress Saira Banu has been in the news lately over her health issues. Now, the 80-year-old yesteryear actress has sparked concern once again among her fans over her health battles. In October, the actress was in the hospital due to health issues. She had shared a picture of her from the hospital bed while reminiscing about her dream wedding with late actor Dilip Kumar.

The 80-year-old veteran actress Saira Banu seems to be facing health challenges once again. The veteran was hospitalized in October after developing severe pneumonia bout, as per reports.

Now, according to an Instagram post published by Vickey Lalwani, 80-year-old Saira Banu has developed two clots in her calf after pneumonia.

He wrote in his caption, "Saira Banu, doyen of Indian cinema, has not been keeping well since the past few days. Reportedly, Mrs Dilip Kumar was admitted to a hospital in October 2024. I have it that she had a severe bout of pneumonia, and recently, she has developed two clots in her calf. Currently, she moves inside her home but with difficulty. (sic)"

When Saira Banu Celebrated Her 58th Wedding Anniversary With Late Dilip Kumar From Hospital

Back in October, the actress took a trip down her memory lane and posted some memorable pictures with her husband as she celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. In the caption, the actresses penned a lengthy note and recalled some of the fun-filled moments from her 'wonderfully chaotic' nikah ceremony,

She wrote in her caption, "Our wedding, as beautiful as it was, was wonderfully chaotic. It was nothing extravagant. My wedding lehenga was stitched at a local darzi's shop, we didn't even have time to print our wedding invitations as everything happened so quickly. And thank goodness for that! Had we had more time, my mother, Pari Chehra Naseem Banu, would have left no stone unturned it would have been a parade of designers, jewellers, and whatnot. Originally the Nikaah was supposed to happen in Novemeber, but due to certain reasons, we had to rush. Dilip Sahib, phoned my mother from calcutta and said "Aap Ek Maulwi Ko Bulwaiye aur Nikaah Padhwa Dijiye! Nevertheless, the day filled with humorous little moments. (sic)"
