Salman Khan House Firing Case Latest Updates: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been under the radar of the Bishnoi community since the 1998 blackbuck case. The actor has been at the receiving end of death threats lately. The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang members had assigned two bike-born assailants who shot almost 5 rounds of bullets outside Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra in the wee hours of April 14, 2024. Now, after two months of the shocking incident, the Mumbai police has filed a fresh case in connection with the house firing case.

Previously, former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, who was once in a relationship with Salman Khan, expressed her concerns for the actor's safety. She also requested the head of the Bishnoi tribe to forget about the 1998 Blackbuck case and move on.

Days after Somy's apology, the Bishnoi community issued a statement reportedly stating that they are ready to forgive the actor only if he tenders a personal apology.

Salman Khan House Firing Incident Latest Update: Mumbai Police Arrests A 25-Year-Old From Rajasthan

According to a PTI report, the Mumbai police arrested a 25 year old boy from Rajasthan for making an alleged threat video against the actor.

The accused, identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar from Bundi in Rajasthan, had allegedly uploaded a video on YouTube, in which he reportedly stated, "Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and other gang members are with me and I am going to kill Salman Khan as he did not apologise yet."

A case was registered at the South Cyber Police Station under sections 506(2), 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and section 66(d) of the Information Technology (IT) Act.

"We are checking if accused Gujar having any previous criminal background. He has been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 506, and provisions of the Information Technology Act. Further investigation is underway," the crime branch official told PTI.

Earlier this week, Mumbai recorded Salman and his brother Arbaaz Khan's statement in the house firing case.
