Salman Khan House Firing: Deceased Accused Anuj Thapan Family Demands Justice, Accuses Mumbai Police Of Murder

Salman Khan House Firing Case Update: One of the four men accused in Salman Khan house firing case Anuj Thapan, 23, was arrested by Mumbai police recently. According to the reports the accused attempted suicide while he was in the lock-up. As family mourn for the loss of their son, they also accuse Mumbai police of murder and framing Thapan's suicide. As of now, there is just allegations of the foul play and no solid reports of the allegations have been proved.

The 23-year-old Anuj Thapan was accused of supplying guns to the shooters. Recently, he was reported to have died while in the custody by suicide. Now, the family of the deceased accused is accusing Mumbai police of turning alleged murder into a suicide. According to ANI, brother of the deceased accused, Abhishek Thapan, said., "Anuj was taken by Mumbai Police from Sangrur 6-7 days ago. Today, we received a call that Anuj had committed suicide." He further claimed that Anuj was not the kind of person who would've committed suicide. Brother claimed, "He was not the kind who could have committed suicide. He was murdered by the police. We want justice. He worked as a truck helper." Demanding justice, Thapan's family is now demanding justice.

Thapan who was 23-year-old was reported to be a truck cleaner. According to the reports, he was working for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. He allegedly carried weapons as per the gangster's instruction. Mumbai police crime branch recovered the pistols that were used during the firing. The pistols were recovered from Tapi river. Besides pistols, 17 live bullets were found.was a 23-year-old truck.

To note, the firing outside Salman Khan's house took place on Monday, April 14 at around 5 am. The two shooters were caught in CCTV camera footage and they open fired outside Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai.
