Salman Khan’s Security Beefed Up After His Close Friend Baba Siddique Was Shot Dead

Salman Khan's Security Beefed Up: The entertainment industry has been in a state of shock as renowned politician Baba Siddique is no more. According to media reports, Baba Siddique, who happens to be Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt's close friend, has been shot dead by three unknown assailants. While the showbiz industry has been mourning Baba Siddique's demise, as per a recent update, Salman Khan's security has been beefed up post the shocking incident. Reportedly, the shooters, who shot Baba Siddique, have claimed to be from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.

For the uninitiated, Lawrence Bishnoi has been the prime accused on Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's murder and has also been the one behind death threats to Salman Khan. While the cops have been probing Lawrence Bishnoi's involvement in Baba Siddique's death, it has raised concerns about Salman and his family's security.

To note, this is the second time this year that Salman Khan's security has been beefed up. Earlier, it happend after two bike borne men fired multiple rounds at Salman Khan's residence in April this year. While the alleged shooters were arrested later, Salman asserted that he believes Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the attack.

"I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment's first floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony," he had stated in a statement.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan had cancelled Bigg Boss 18 shoot and rushed to Lilavati Hospital soon after the news of attack on Baba Siddque surfaced. The superstar looked tensed and grief struck as he approached the hospital to be with Baba Siddique's family in the time of need.
