Samantha To Samyuktha: South Actresses Capturing Hearts In Bollywood!

South Actresses Capturing Hearts In Bollywood

From having a language barrier between different languages to all industries merging to be one, Indian cinema has come a long way. And it has all been possible because of the crossover of talent that has happened across industries, especially between South and Bollywood. Here are 5 such actresses whose foray from South to Bollywood has been a bridging gap between the industries:

Samantha

Samantha was already a bonafide star down South when she decided to enter the Hindi market, and she made quite an unconventional debut here. Used to playing the leading lady in South films, she played an antagonist in The Family Man 2 on OTT and is now gearing up for the action-packed series Citadel Honey Bunny as her next Hindi project.

Rashmika Mandanna

Rashmika is maintaining a beautiful and blockbuster balance between South and Hindi. She made her debut here with Goodbye, and went on to deliver the monstrous success of Animal last year, whereas down South, she was a part of the success story of Pushpa: The Rise and is now awaiting release of Pushpa: The Rule.

Jyotika

While she did start her career with a Hindi film, Jyotika has done most of her work in the South. But after more than 25 years, she returned to Hindi films this year with two back-to-back successes- Shaitan and Srikanth, proving her prowess and star power on screen.

Samyuktha

Known for her impressive acting skills and glamorous personality, Samyuktha is the newest crossover from South to Bollywood. She has delivered hits in South with films like Kalki, Vaathi and Virupaksha, and now she is set to make her Hindi film debut alongside Kajol in the actioner Maharagni.

Sai Pallavi

A renowned name down South, Sai Pallavi is set to make her entry into Hindi films too and she already has two films in the pipeline. While she will start as Goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor's Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's magnum-opus Ramayan, she will also feature opposite Junaid Khan in a love story.
