Shah Rukh Khan's Next After Dunki To Be Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah? Deets Inside

2023 was a treat for Shah Rukh Khan fans. The superstar had three releases this year, Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. While Pathaan and Jawan became blockbusters, Dunki did resonably well at the box office. Now, everyone has been eagerly waiting to know which will be SRK's next after Dunki. There were reports that he might star in a thriller alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. However, that movie is also not yet officially announced.

Meanwhile, a recent report in Pinkvilla, talks about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next. The report states that SLB might start shooting for his next directorial in May or June this year. He has multiple projects ready to go on the floors and one of them is Inshallah.

A source told the portal, "Inshallah is a step in a new direction for Sanjay Leela Bhansali in today's time and even he is in the mindset to explore a rather light-hearted romantic comedy, stepping back from the intense period dramas. SLB has met SRK a couple of times over the last few months. It's a story and character which suits Shah Rukh Khan's personality and he is in conversations to get him on board."

Yes, Inshallah is the same film which was initially announced with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. But, Salman opted out of it, and SLB decided to cast Alia in Gangubai Kathiawadi, and rest is the history.

While there's no official announcement about Inshallah, we are sure this report will make Shah Rukh Khan's fans super excited as it will be interesting to see him in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The actor-director duo had worked together in Devdas which was a super hit at the box office, and SRK had won awads for his performance in it.

Meanwhile, SLB also has Baiju Barwa lined up which reportedly stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, but it is said that he won't be starting that film next. Well, we can only say one thing that let's wait for an official announcement.
