Shatrughan Sinha Hospitalised A Week After Sonakshi Sinha & Zaheer Iqbal’s Wedding? Here’s What We Know

Shatrughan Sinha Hospitalised: Shatrughan Sinha and his family have been all over the headlines lately courtesy of Sonakshi Sinha's wedding. The Dabangg actress had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in a civil ceremony on June 23. And while it has been only a week since Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding, Shatrughan Sinha is back in the headlines. But this time for a concerning reason. According to media reports, the veteran actor has been rushed to the hospital a week after Sonakshi's wedding.

According to a report published in Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted for a routine check up after he got injured lately post tripping in the dining room earlier this week. The report suggested that the incident took place on June 25 following which he hurt his ribs region. It is reported that Sonakshi had managed to extend her hand at the right time else the veteran actor would have been severely injured.

Shatrughan Sinha Hospitalised - Health Update

Reportedly, Shatrughan Sinha was given immediate medical attention and was asked to rest at home. However, he complained of a pain in ribs region later following which the doctors had advised him to get hospitalised in order to conduct some tests. The reports also mentioned that as per Shatrughan Sinha's recent test reports there is no internal injury. The veteran actor is likely to be discharged tomorrow.

The news was confirmed by filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani who told Times Now, "Yes, Shatru ji is in hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening".

To note, Shatrughan Sinha recently grabbed eyeballs during his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding as the veteran actor stood by his bride's side as she started her new journey. Sharing his happiness, the veteran actor stated, "Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe. I would like all my fans, friends constituents to bless the couple. 44 years ago, Shatrughan Sinha married a very successful, very beautiful, very talented girl of his choice, Poonam Sinha.
