Raj Kundra, a businessman entangled in a pornographic case investigation, recently broke his silence regarding the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on his properties. He made it clear through an Instagram story that he is actively cooperating with the authorities in their ongoing investigation, which has spanned over four years.

Kundra's statement stressed the importance of keeping his wife, Shilpa Shetty, out of the controversy, highlighting the undue pressure and speculative connections being made about her involvement. "While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let's set the record straight: I'm fully complying with the ongoing investigation... As for the claims of 'associates', 'pornographic' and 'money laundering', let's just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth, in the end, justice will prevail!" he asserted.

In a similar vein, Shilpa Shetty's legal representative, Advocate Prashant Patil, refuted claims tying her to the case. He clarified that no ED raid had been conducted on Shetty, dismissing the circulating reports as false and misleading. The advocate's statement emphasized Shetty's non-involvement in the offenses being investigated, urging media outlets to exercise restraint in their reporting."There have been reports in the media saying that my client Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra has been raided by the Enforcement Directorate. These reports are not true and are misleading... Would request the electronic and print media to refrain from using the videos, pictures and name of Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra as she has nothing to do with the case," Patil stated.

Kundra's plea for respect towards his wife's privacy comes amid an investigation into allegations of distributing pornographic material through mobile apps and other digital platforms. The businessman found himself under arrest in July 2021 due to these accusations but was subsequently released on bail.
