Sania Mirza's Father Reacts To Shoaib Malik-Sana Javed Wedding; Reveals Tennis Player Took 'Khula'

This morning, we all woke up with the surprising news that Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik got married to Pakistani actress Sana Javed. He took to social media to make an announcement about it. Well, Shoaib was married to Indian Tennis player Sania Mirza, and they also have a son. There were rumours about their separation, but they had not made anything official.

When the pictures of Shoaib and Sana made it to social media, everyone started wondering whether Shoaib and Sania are divorced. Now, according to a report in PTI, Sania's father has reacted to the wedding.

Sania's father Imran Mirza told PTI that it was a 'Khula'. Well, according to Wikipedia, "Khula, is a procedure based on traditional jurisprudence, that allows a Muslim woman to initiate a divorce by returning the mahr and everything she received from him during their life together, or without returning anything, as agreed by the spouses or judge's decree, depending on the circumstances."

While Sania's father has spoken up about it, she is yet to give any statement.

The rumours of Shoaib and Sania's separation were going on for the past few months. Just a few days ago, Sania on her Insta story had shared a post that had hinted at the divorce.

The post read, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. This is Shoaib Malik's third wedding. Before Sania, Shoaib was married to a girl named Ayesha who was also an Indian woman. While fans of the cricketer are congratulating him on the wedding, a few are trolling him for getting married for the third time.
