Sidharth Malhotra Opts Out Of Another Cop Project And In No Mood To Choose Roles ‘In Uniform For Now’, Reports

Sidharth Malhotra's New Project: 2024 brought several good news to the fans of Sidharth Malhotra, as since the starting of the year, the actor has been linked to several big projects, be it action or romance. But there are rumours that the actor has opted out of a big budget film for a role he is master on playing onscreen.

Well, reportedly, Sidharth, who was offered a role as a cop in an upcoming film, has opted out of the project. The actor is reportedly considering new genres, having previously played a hero in uniform in projects like the National Award Winning Film 'Shershaah','Indian Police Force' and 'Yodha'.

A source close to the Shershaah actor revealed that the actor is in no mood choosing 'men-in-uniform' now, and thus he has been opting out of roles like that. And the reason for him doing so is that his willingness to showcase his versatility as an actor. The sources also revealed that the actor is mostly up for exploring varied genres of films.

His upcoming projects include Murad Khetani's next and an untitled romantic film which has garnered much interest from fans and others in the industry. Other than that, there are rumours of Sidharth reuniting with wifey Kiara Advani for a romantic comedy. This film marks their second collaboration after Shershaah.

Talking to ETimes, an excited Sidharth said, "Oh yeah, that's very much on the table. We can't say for sure, but we were very interested in working together and finding the correct script combination, where both of us justify our roles. Also, the audience gets to see us after Shershaah, which we got a lot of love for. It is about getting the correct elements in place."

Another source disclosed to Bollywood Hungama that the script is already finalized, "The script has been locked by Sid and much like Shershaah, it's he who approached Karan to get the movie rolling. This is a fun entertainer with a quirky touch to it and not emotional like Shershaah because Sid believes people want to see him and Kiara in a happy film."
