Sanjay Dutt Dropped From Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar 2 Over Visa Rejection

A few days ago Sanjay Dutt made headlines for being roped in for Son Of Sardaar 2, now, as per the reports by mid-day, the actor has been removed by the Ajay Devgn's team after his visa application to UK was rejected due to his arrest in 1993 in the Mumbai blast connection. The actor is replaced by another ace actor, Ravi Kishan. According to a source close to the portal, "Ever since his arrest in 1993, while Sanju has travelled to the US, he has applied for a UK visa multiple times, but never got one. The Son of Sardaar 2 shoot would have been his first trip to the UK. However, after Ajay's team found out that the senior actor's visa request had been rejected, they replaced him with Ravi Kishan."

The source further revealed that Sanjay Dutt being a part of Housefull 5 has also impacted Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5 as a major portion of the film is to be shot in London. While it leaves the room for replacement for the Sajid Nadiadwala movie, the source also stated, "Sajid has chosen a wiser route. While the shooting with the cast begins in London, all of Sanju's portions will be filmed in Mumbai. So, there are no issues on that front."

Why Was Sanjay Dutt Arrested In 1993?

Sanjay Dutt was arrested in TADA Act for possessing illegal weapons in the 1993 bombing. He was sentenced five years of prison and completed his jail term in 2016.
