Sonakshi Sinha Marries Zaheer Iqbal: Zaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha are officially man and wife now. Yes! You read it right. The power couple, who has been dating each other for years now, have finally tied the knot in Mumbai today as per report published in Indian Express. According to media reports, it was an intimate wedding ceremony which was attended by the couple's family. Reportedly, Sonakshi and Zaheer had a registered marriage at the Heeramandi actress' residence. And while they have signed the official documents, the much in love couple are now the newly weds of the town.

To note, the news of Sonakshi's wedding surfaced early this month and both Sonakshi and Zaheer have been tight-lipped about it so far. There had been endless speculations about the couple tying the knot as per Hindu or Muslim traditions. However, the lovebirds instead opted for a civil marriage. It is reported that post the registered marriage, Sonakshi and Zaheer will be hosting a grand wedding reception at Bastian tonight.

Sharing the details about the wedding reception, DJ Ganesh told Dubai Brew, "Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian in Dadar. I think 1,000 people are invited. So, I think it will be a full-on Bollywood mix-off until 4 in the morning". It is reported that celebs like Salman Khan, Tabu, Honey Singh, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, the cast of Heeramandi sans Manisha Koirala, etc will also be a part of this grand wedding reception.

Interestingly, there have been speculations about Sonakshi converting to Islam post her wedding. However, Zaheer's father Iqbal Ratansi cleared the air and told Free Press General, "She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi".
