After all, she is all set to marry her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal in an intimate ceremony today. The wedding ceremony is reportedly taking place at Sonakshi's residence in Mumbai the fans are eagerly waiting for the first glimpse of the newlyweds. Reportedly, it will be a civil marriage for the couple which is being attended by the couple's family and close friends.

And while Zaheer and Sonakshi are all set to become man and wife officially, did you know Shatrughan Sinha wanted a ghar jamai for his darling daughter? Yes! You read it right. The veteran actor spoke about it during his conversation with Simi Garewal in 2011 on Simi Selects India's Most Desirable when he was asked about how he would deal with Sonakshi getting married. To this, Shatrughan Sinha stated, "One day, she will go away to in-laws. Given a chance and choice, we won't look for a son-in-law but we will look for another son for us, who will stay with us".

Later, Sonakshi's mother Poonam added, "Sonakshi, the person you want to live the rest of your life with, as I always told you that he should be someone who loves you more than you love him". Sweet, isn't it?

Meanwhile, it is reported that post Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding, the couple will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai tonight. Sharing the details about the wedding reception, DJ Ganesh told Dubai Brew, "Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian in Dadar. I think 1,000 people are invited. So, I think it will be a full-on Bollywood mix-off until 4 in the morning". It is reported that celebs like Salman Khan, Tabu, Honey Singh, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, the cast of Heeramandi sans Manisha Koirala, etc will also be a part of this grand wedding reception
