Sonu Sood reaction to passenger hitting airline pilot: Hours after requesting people to be patient with the airline crews during flight delays, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has once again reacted to a shocking incident where a frustated passenger can be seen punching the pilot of an Indigo flight.

Due to the cold weather and dense fog blanket, there are disruptions in flight operations, and several flights are running late all over the country. Off late, many TV and film actors on their social media handles have criticised several airlines for their mismanagement.

Sood, who is known for his goodwill, recently reacted strongly after a video of a passenger attacking the crew went viral on the internet.

The viral video shows a male passenger assaulting the pilot inside the aircraft. Reportedly, the flight from Delhi to Goa was delayed for about 13 hours, and the pilot was announcing the status in the passenger cabin when he got hit.

The passenger who punched the new pilot had replaced the previous pilot in view of the Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) rules. Wearing a yellow hoodie, the man suddenly got up from his seat and attacked the pilot. The pilot was stopped by a co-passenger and sent back to his seat.

Expressing shock and dismay over the shocking incident, Sonu Sood shared a screenshot from the viral video on his social media handles and wrote that the airline staff will soon have to go through self-defence training programmes to defend themselves from such a nuisance.

He wrote, "Soon self defence training programs will become mandatory for airline staff, if people continue to behave in such unruly ways!!"

As per TOI, the flight was scheduled to depart at 7.40 am but due to bad weather, it left at 6pm. The pilot was attacked at 1 pm. The passenger can be heard saying in the video, "Chalana hai to chala, nahi to mat chala, khol de."

Lately, several celebs have complained about flight delays and mismanagement by airline companies, causing inconvenience to hundreds of other passengers. Actress Radika Apte recently shared her ordeal with Indigo, where she and other travellers were locked in an aerobridge at Mumbai airport for over an hour, without access to food or washrooms.

TV actress Surbhi Chandna too slammed Vistara for offloading her luggage midway without any explanation. She also alleged that the crew was rude and unsupportive when she sought an answer.
