The horror-comedy sequel has been generating a lot of buzz and how! Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film marks the 4th film in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe after 'Stree', 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya'. After a long wait of nearly 6 years, the OG Stree gang is returning to screens with the highly-anticipated sequel.

Earlier in 'Bhediya', Shraddha Kapoor joined Varun Dhawan for a stunning appearance in the song 'Thumkeshwari', hinting at Stree 2. And now, VD took everyone by surprise with his cameo in Stree 2's 'Khoobsurat'.

In Khoobsurat, Varun and Rajkummar fight for Shraddha's attention, while Abhishek Banerjee acts as a comic relief.

Stree 2: How Much Is Varun Dhawan Paid For His Cameo?

Ever since the trailer of Stree 2 released, fans have been eagerly anticipating Varun Dhawan's cameo in Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2. VD confirmed his special appearance with the song 'Khoobsurat'. According to a report published by Showbiz Galore, VD has been paid a whopping Rs 2 cr for his appearance.

To note, Varun previously reprised his role from 'Bhediya' in Sharvari-Abhay Verma starrer 'Munjya'.

Amid much anticipation, Stree 2 - starring Shraddha, Rajkummar, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Kkhurana and Abhishek Banerjee, will have an unique release with night shows being premiered 9:30 PM onwards on 14th August. As per Sacnilk, the film has laready sold over 2 lakh tickets, grossing around Rs 7.5+ cr for opening day as of now.
