Stree 2 Ending Explained: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Stree 2' is scripting His-Stree at the box office. After a long wait for nearly six years, the OG Stree gang is back with highly-anticipated sequel, Stree 2. Amid crazy anticipation, the film hit big screens today (15th August). Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy sequel is all set to take the box office on fire, and break some 'indu-stree' records.

While the film is on its way to become the biggest film of the year, fans are still wondering what is Shraddha Kapoor's character in the film? In the first part of the supernatural horror-comedy, Kapoor's character was not revealed, or who she really was. But in Stree 2 climax, they have answered it.

Stree 2 Ending Explained: Is Shraddha Kapoor The 'Real' Stree?

In Stree, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee's characters believed that Shraddha Kapoor's charcater might be the actual stree until Kapoor revealed that she had been after Stree's ghost for many years. However, neither her identity, nor her character name were revealed.

In Stree 2, Shraddha, Rajkummar, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek and Aparshakti return to Chanderi to save the town from 'Sarkate ki aatank'. At the end of the horror-comedy sequel, Shraddha Kapoor's real identity has finally been revealed. (Disclaimer: Spoilers ahead!)

Turns out, Shraddha Kapoor is not the actual stree but she is her daughter! Yes, you read that right! In Stree 2, she is after 'sarkata', the man originally behind Stree's torture, to give her mother's ghost 'moksh'. While her character name still hasn't been revealed, it is disclosed that Shraddha Kapoor is a 'ghost'.
