Stree 2: Meet Sunil Kumar; a 7.7 ft Tall Actor Who Played Sarkata Bhoot In Rajkummar-Shraddha’s Film

Stree 2 Who Is Sarkat Bhoot: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's much anticipated Stree 2 has been one of the most talked about releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror comedy once again brought the story of Chanderi town which a sarkata bhoot has now haunted. As this Rajkummar and Shraddha starrer opened to rave reviews from the audience, fans have been curious to know about the sarkata bhoot who has been sending a chill down everyone's spine.
While there the initial reports suggested that Akshay Kumar played the role of sarkata bhoot, later the reports claim that the villain in Stree 2 was a VFX generated creature. In fact, Stree 2's massive success had left the fans curious about the sarkata bhoot and its identity. But now, it is revealed that the sarkata bhoot from Stree 2 was played by a 7.7 feet tall actor who is also known as the Great Khali of Jammu.
Who Played Sarkata Bhoot In Stree 2?
According to media reports, 7.7 ft tall Sunil Kumar aka Sunny Jatt from Jammu played the role of the lead antagonist in Stree 2. To note, Sunil is said to be an ace wrestler with a ring name 'The Great Angaar and is reportedly a constable in the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Besides he was also a part of the WWE Tryout in 2019 and enjoys playing volleyball and handball. Interestingly, Sunil has managed to beat The Great Khali in terms of height as Khali happens to be around 7.1 ft.
How Was Sunil Kapoor Roped In To Play Sarkata Bhoot In Stree 2?
During a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, director Amar Kaushik stated that Sunil was traced by the casting team as they wanted a man with a massive height and the Great Khali of Jammu managed to fit the bill. "We used his body shots while the face of Sarkata was generated through CGI," Kaushik added.

Stree 2 has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day and raked in Rs 60.3 crores on opening day (including paid reviews), making it the highest opener of the year 2024. Besides, this Shraddha and Rajkummar starrer has managed to rake in over Rs 228 crores so far with in 5 days and has become the fifth fastest Bollywood film to enter the coveted Rs 200 crores club after Jawan, Animal, Pathaan and Gadar 2.
