Stree Ending Explained Ahead Of Stree 2 Release: After a long wait for nearly six years, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao paired up once again for the highly-anticipated 'Stree 2'. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 - sequel to their 2018 blockbuster - marks the fourth film in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe after 'Stree', 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya'. In the sequel, Shraddha-Rajkummar and their OG Stree gang are returning to Chanderi to save the town from 'Sarkate ki aatank'.

Ahead Of Stree 2 Release, Let's Revisit Stree Ending

Throughout the film, nobody knew the name of Shraddha Kapoor's film... or who she really was. While Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao) and his friends Bittu and Jana (Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee respectively) believed that she might be the actual Stree, it was revealed that Shraddha's character had been after Stree's ghost for many years.

During the climax scene, Vicky decided to take away her powers by chopping off her braid instead of killing her after he realized how she was wronged by Chanderi's people. Interestingly, it was the same braid which we saw Shraddha merging into her own hair while leaving the town on a bus. As soon as Stree's chopped braided hair intertwined with her hair, she vanished!

Who was she? How did Shraddha's character managed to do that? If not Stree, then was she a supernatural creature? Was she after Stree's power to become more powerful? How did she get vanished into thin air inside a bus?

In the trailer of Stree 2, Shraddha's character is back in Chanderi and reunited with Vicky and his gang to fight against 'Sarkate ki aatank', the man originally behind Stree torture.
