Shraddha Kapoor's Father Shakti Kapoor Has Connection With Sarkata?

Shraddha Kapoor starrer is getting all the limelight for all the right reasons, now theories are coming up simultaneously. Amid these, there is connection of Shraddha Kapoor's father with the film is found. Yes, you heard it right, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has a connection with 'Sarkata'. How? Well, the actor was featured in a movie called Sar Kati Laash in 1999, and 25 years later, his daughter is back with a movie that shows the chilling plot with a sarkata(headless) ghost who haunts Chanderi.

The film is the sequel of 2018 horror comedy of the same name with the same cast. However, this time Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan made special appearance, while the plot has got a twist as the village Chanderi deals with another ghost after Stree was defeated in the last film.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films in association with Jio Studio. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, among others. For the unversed, Dinesh Vijan's horror universe also features films like Munjya and Bhediya, which performed really well at the box office.
