Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor’s Role In The Movie To Get A Spin Off? Here’s What We Know!

Stree 2: Stree 2 is the talk of the town currently after the movie became the highest opener of the year beating Fighter. It collected more than 400 Cr within just 1 week of its release that shows the promising results when it comes to lifetime box office numbers. The most intriguing part of the film is the character played by Shraddha Kapoor, which is mysteriously interesting. There are buzz that the movie is going to have a spin off with the standalone movie revolving only Shraddha's unnamed character.

Is Shraddha Kapoor's Role In Stree 2 Going To Have A Spin Off?

Well, while there are speculations that the horror comedy universe will be expanding, Stree 2 writer Niren Bhatt confirmed the same and said, "Yes, we will explore the story of Shraddha Kapoor as Stree's daughter, and that's why we didn't reveal her name."

He further talked about the horror characters of Maddock films and said regarding the main characters of Stree 2, Munjya, and Bhediya, "We are thinking of expanding their stories. I don't know how, when, and in which films they will come, but they will come."'

Stree 2 Ending

Stree 2 ended with a massive twist! After the 2018 movie, while everyone thought that Shraddha's character is the real Stree, it turned out that she is Stree's daughter. In the last scene of Stree 2, her unnamed character revealed her name only to Vicky (Rajkummar Rao's character) while keeping it wrapped from the audience. She later disappeared again much like the previous part which increased the anticipation for a spin off or another threequal.

In the ending, it was further noted that Akshay Kumar's cameo had a connection with Sarkata and he somehow is related to him. The film also had Varun Dhawan's appearance as Bhediya. While talking about the possibility of appearing together in the future projects, Rajkummar Rao said, "It's too early to say, to be honest. But sure, that's the reason this universe is building-that eventually, we can have that one big film where we will have a villain like Thanos and Vicky like Iron Man and (pointing towards Shraddha and hinting at Stree) Black Widow."
