Stree 2 Trailer Launch: Stree 2 is all over the headlines on Thursday ever since the trailer was launched. And the trailer launch event was a star studded engaging event with the ensemble cast and media. While the media questioned on the update about the next installment, the producer has spoken up and spilled the beans about the same.

Is Stree 3 On The Cards?

Well, producer Dinesh Vijan shared excited updates about Stree 3, the third installment of Stree franchise. He said, "Stree 2 is like the mothership; it answers many questions raised by Stree 1 and explains the connections. After Stree 2, the next movie will be called Dhama." He further revealed that the script of Stree 3 is already written and added, "We have already written Stree 3, so the gap between the films will be shorter."

In the trailer, Rajkummar Rao's character's quest to fight a ghost continues. The trailer starts with the revelation that upon Stree's departure, 'Sarkata' will come. As the village faces the wrath of the new ghost who kidnaps all the women of the region, Vicky becomes the savior to the local people with the help of his girlfriend, Shraddha Kapoor, who makes a return in this season. The spine-chilling horror is mixed with tingling comedy while giving a visual treat to the audience by incorporating a dance number from the ever gorgeous, Tamannaah Bhatia.

Earlier talking about Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao said, "Same world, same people. It's bigger for sure, same duniya, kuch nahi badla hai. I think jo soul thi uss film ki, woh isme bhi hai."

Helmed by Amar Kaushik and presented by Jio Studios, the movie is all set to release on August 15. The horror comedy is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
