Since Abhishek Banerjee is set to feature in both Stree 2 and Vedaa and both are releasing on August 15, the actor was asked by India Today which movie will he choose to watch first. Abhishek replied, "I think I will have to put a split screen to watch them simultaneously." He then added a humor and replied, "Or maybe I would toss," and then after a pause, he laughed, "Or better, I will watch Khel Khel Mein."

Abhishek claimed that it has never happened in his career, not in his theater days, that two of his movies are releasing at the same time. "It's a new and quite crazy experience, but I also find myself in a privileged position," said Abhishek. The actor explains that both the characters are of extreme genre.

Stree 2 is releasing On 15th August's eve, i.e. on August 14, 2024 from 9.30 pm onwards. On the other hand, Vedaa is releasing on August 15, 2024.
