Dil
Bechara
Sequel:
Casting-director
turned
filmmaker
Mukesh
Chhabra
left
internet
users
surprised
after
he
dropped
a
cryptic
post
hinting
at
a
sequel
to
his
first
project,
Dil
Bechara.
The
romantic
tragedy
film
starred
late
actor
Sushant
Singh
Rajput
with
Sanjana
Sanghi.
It
marked
SSR's
last
movie,
which
was
released
after
the
actor's
death
in
2020.
However,
it
looks
like
Sushant
Singh
Rajput's
fans
aren't
very
happy
about
the
idea
of
a
sequel
to
the
movie,
as
they
feel
it
wouldn't
be
complete
without
Sushant's
presence.

Mukesh
Chhabra
teased
the
sequel
to
the
late
actor's
last
movie,
Dil
Bechara,
on
Wednesday.
He
took
to
his
X
page
(formerly
known
as
Twitter)
and
simply
wrote,
"Dil
Bechara
2."
Without
providing
additional
details,
the
post
has
sparked
speculation
about
the
potential
sequel
to
SSR's
film.
Reacting
to
the
post,
several
fans
expressed
disappointment
and
said
that
the
film
is
an
emotion
and
would
be
incomplete
without
Sushant.
One
said,
"Dil
Bechara
Is
An
Emotion!!!
I
Still
Can
Never
Watch
It
In
One
Go!!!
It's
A
Request...
Please
Don't
Ruin
It
For
Sushant
n
Us."
Another
wrote.
"No
one
will
watch
it
without
Sushant
in
it!
That
movie
of
yours
only
succeeded
coz
of
Sushant
period!" another
wrote.
Several
others
simply
wrote,
"No
SSR,
No
Dil
Bechara."
One
more
commented,
"Big
no
to
Dil
Bechara
2."
One
comment
read,
"You
are
going
to
make
the
second
part
but
we
will
miss
#Sushant
sir
a
lot.
We
will
never
be
able
to
forget
him.
May
this
part
2
also
be
a
hit.
We
miss
you
Sushiii.
Even
though
he
won't
be
there
in
Part
2,
his
memories
will
always
be
with
you
through
part
one."
Dil
Bechara
was
released
after
Sushant's
death
in
2020.
The
film
also
starred
Swastika
Mukherjee
and
Saswata
Chatterjee
in
key
roles.
It's
the
Hindi
remake
of
the
2014
Hollywood
hit
The
Fault
In
Our
Stars.
When
Sanjana
Sanghi
talked
about
her
first
meeting
with
SSR
Last
year,
Sanjana
recollected
her
first
meeting
with
SSR
for
Dil
Bechara.
Speaking
to
Bollywood
Bubble,
she
said,
"I
remember
either
it
was
for
a
reading
or
look
test
or
for
one
of
those
things.
It
was
just
so
effortless
and
easy."
Talking
about
the
late
actor,
she
added,
"The
Fault
In
Our
Stars
is
a
tear-jerker.
And
just
getting
to
debut
with
someone
as
prolific
as
him
(Sushant),
so
incredibly
intelligent,
so
talented,
was
a
huge
gift."
