Taapsee
Pannu
on
becoming
a
producer:
Actress
Taapsee
Pannu,
over
the
years,
has
carved
a
niche
for
herself
in
the
film
industry
by
walking
the
road
that
is
less
travelled.
She
has
consistently
chosen
unconventional
and
entertaining
scripts,
which
most
female
stars
hesitate
to
pick.
The
actress
launched
her
own
production
house,
Outsider
Films,
back
in
2021
and
has
since
been
creating
movies
like
Doobara,
Looop
Lapeta,
and
now
Dhak
Dhak.
In
a
recent
interview,
Taapsee
Pannu
opened
up
about
her
experience
becoming
a
producer
and
producing
films
like
Dhak
Dhak.
Taapsee
on
becoming
a
producer
Talking
about
why
she
became
a
producer
in
an
interview,
Taapsee
told
Filmfare,
"I
did
not
become
a
producer
so
that
I
could
act
in
the
film.
I
want
to
create
opportunities
for
those
who
don't
get
opportunities
easily.
It's
not
easy
to
get
a
break.
It's
not
easy
to
convince
people
that
you
have
what
it
takes.
I
worked
hard
on
the
film.
"
She
further
spoke
about
making
Dhak
Dhak
and
said,
"If
you
have
seen
it,
you'll
realise
that,
be
it
the
visuals
or
the
production
values,
everything
looks
absolutely
fine.
And
I'm
so
glad
that
people
loved
it,
as
it
proved
that
my
instincts
as
a
producer
were
right.
I
always
trust
my
guts
in
everything
and
I
did
that
even
as
a
producer
and
it
paid
off
here
as
well."
When
asked
about
why
she
named
her
production
company
Outsiders
Films,
the
actress
stated,
"I
feel
like
it
is
a
matter
of
pride
that
I
am
an
outsider.
I
never
considered
it
a
step
down.
That's
why
I
named
it
Outsiders
Films.
The
credit
is
mine,
as
is
the
failure.
The
lessons
are
mine,
and
so
are
the
celebrations."
Taapsee
has
been
known
for
her
unique
film
choices.
The
actress
can
effortlessly
pull
off
any
role
that
she
is
given,
be
it
in
films
like
Saandh
ki
Ankh
or
in
a
commercial
film
like
Judwaa
2.
She
was
last
seen
in
Dunki
opposite
Shah
Rukh
Khan
and
has
a
couple
of
films
lined
up
for
release
in
2024,
including
Woh
Ladki
Hai
Kahaan?,
Phir
Aayi
Haseen
Dillruba,
and
Khel
Khel
Mein.
