Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya 2: Even After A Lukewarm Response, Will Shahid-Kriti Starrer Have A Sequel?

Nowadays, it has become a trend that even before a film releases, the makers announce a sequel at the end of the movie. Last year, we saw movies like Bholaa, Jawan, Ganapath, and Animal that ended on a note that there will be a sequel to them. Now, this year, that happened with pan-India film Hanuman, and even the makers of Fighter were talking about the sequel even before the film was released. Now, recently, one more film to hint at a sequel is Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

The Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah's directorial received mixed reviews from the critics, and while it had a strictly decent weekend, the film showed a drop on weekdays at the box office. The movie did show a good jump on Valentine's Day, but on its seventh day, there was a major drop.

The movie in its week one has collected Rs. 44.35 crore which is strictly average. Now, after getting a lukewarm response at the box office, will there be a sequel to the film planned?

Recently, Kriti interacted with her fans on social media and when a fan asked her, "When can we expect part 2 #TBMAUJ #AskKriti." To this, the actress replied, "With All the love pouring in, I'm sure Amit &Aradhana (writers& directors) are compelled to write Part2 soooonnnn!"

We have mainly seen that when a film doesn't do well at the box office, the sequel is never made. But, let's wait and watch whether Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya 2 will be made or not.

Talking about Kriti's upcoming movies, the actress will be see in The Crew which is slated to release on 29th March 2024. The movie also stars Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. Apart from The Crew, she will be seen in Do Patti which will premiere on Netflix. The movie also stas Kajol in the lead role.
