The re-release of Sohum Shah's 'Tumbbad’ had its screening yesterday, with the actor himself present. He expressed deep gratitude to fans for their immense love, attributing the film's return to theatres six years after its original release to their support.
Sohum Shah posted a reel on his social media, capturing moments from the screening. The caption read, "A heartfelt thank you to each and every one who relived the magic of Tumbbad! Advance booking open now! Experience the magical world of #Tumbbad once again in cinemas from 13th September 2024."

'Tumbbad’ is a Hindi-language folk horror film directed by Rahi Anil Barve. Anand Gandhi served as the creative director while Adesh Prasad co-directed. The screenplay was written by Mitesh Shah, Prasad, Barve, and Gandhi. Sohum Shah produced it alongside Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah, and Amita Shah.
The film stars Sohum as Vinayak Rao and features Jyoti Malshe and Anita Date-Kelkar in significant roles. It was praised for its gripping story and exceptional production design.
