Urmila Matondkar First Public Appearance Post Divorce: Last month (September), Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar was in the headlines after she filed for a divorce with her Kashmiri husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after 8 years of marriage. Now, almost a month after the separation reports, the 'Masoom' actress has made her first public appearance at an event.

Celebrated Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar and Kashmir-born model-businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir had crossed each other's paths during the wedding of fashion designer Manish Malhotra's niece back in 2014. Soon, Urmila and Mohsin fell in love and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.

In September this year, Urmila made headlines after she filed for a divorce in a court in Bandra, Mumbai. While the exact reason behind their split is yet unknown, a HT report stated that the divorce on not happening on mutual terms apparently.

"After careful consideration, Urmila has decided to call it quits on her marriage with Mohsin. She has already filed for divorce in court. While the reason behind the separation is still not known, the divorce isn't happening on mutual terms," a source had informed the portal.

Nearly a month after the divorce news of Urmila and her now-estranged husband Mohsin surfaced to the internet, the actress made her first public appearance as attended an event in Mumbai last night (October 21).

Urmila donned a stunning crop top and a purple skirt. She layered her outfit with a beautiful blingy jacket. For those unversed, Urmila and Mohsin had a ten-year age gap. The actress is 10 years older than her estranged Kashmiri husband.
