Following the breakup with Salman Khan, Aishwarya reportedly went into relationship with Vivek and it led to a whole new fiasco. Later, it was reported by multiple sources that Salman ruined Vivek's already-established career in Bollywood after the actor held a press conference and stated that Salman has threatened over phone calls. In one of his old interviews with Farah Khan, Vivek Oberoi spoke about the entire thing and stated that he was feeling bad for letting down Sohail Khan, with whom he shared a close bond. Vivek is also good friend with Arbaaz Khan and the fued was affecting their friendship. He further stated that it was Sohail Khan who took the initiative to sort out everything between them which later led him to even apologize to his friend, Sohail, for letting him down.

Vivek also stated that he had to start from scratch again and he was grateful that some of his friends gave him projects. He also thanked Farah for offering him movie to which Farah clarified that Salman never asked anyone in Bollywood to not give work to Vivek Oberoi.
