WHEN ANUSHKA SHARMA MADE DEBUT AT CANNES

Anushka Sharma turned all the heads around as she wore an off-white off-shoulder gown. The actress' dress was designed by famed designer Richard Quinn. The idea of Anushka's dress was a "fresh take on a floral sartorial choice that modernises the concept of sculptural garment technology without looking overdone." The dress had design of humongous flower around it's bust, adding a slightly dramatic look. Anushka said to Vogue, "The dress has humongous flowers around the chest-it's slightly dramatic but it's also understated which is exactly what I wanted to do."

The criss-cross pattern all over the dress with small beads and flowers added to it. Anushka accessorized her look with diamond earrings and similar rings. What stood out among all her jewelry was her yellow colored ring.

Talking about her debut at Cannes, Anushka said, "I think it's a place where so many talented people with a unique point of view, vision and story come together to share a platform which celebrates them." Anushka's makeup was done by Puneet Saini and hair done by Yianni Tsaptori. Thanking her team, Anushka said, "What happens in an event like this is-you've already done your fittings and discussed hair and makeup details with the team, so by this time it's all really about execution."
