Deepika Padukone On Raising Her Baby: Deepika Padukone is all set to be the new mommy in the town and fans have been eagerly waiting for the diva's little one. The Kalki 2898 AD actress, who is married to Ranveer Singh since 2018, announced her pregnancy early this year and left her massive fan following beaming with joy. To note, Deepika and Ranveer will be welcoming their first child in September next year and everyone is looking forward to the power couple's parenthood journey.

Speculations have already begun about whether Ranveer and Deepika will be following Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's footsteps and keep their little one away from the limelight or will they follow Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's path and let the kid enjoy the limelight right from the beginning. Amid this, we got our hands on a throwback interview of the Deepika wherein she spoke about keeping her kids grounded.

Talking to Vogue Singapore, Deepika asserted that she and Ranveer love kids and have been excited to start the new journey. "In this industry, it's easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don't want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children," she added.

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD. She will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's much talked about Singham Again which also features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Siddhartha Jadhav, Dayanand Shetty and Ashutosh Rana. The movie will feature Deepika playing the role of a police officer for the first time onscreen.
