Where many filmmakers believe the love stories that have a happy ending only works on big screen, well, the reality seems to have changed. The makers are now trying an emotional turn to the movie by introducing an unconventional ending. Amid the announcement of the movie, Karan has also revealed the release date of Dhadak 2. As Karan dropped a video of his upcoming movie, he wrote, "यह कहानी है थोड़ी अलग क्यूंकि एक था राजा, एक थी रानी - जात अलग थी...ख़तम कहानी" (This story is little different as it has a king and a queen, they had different cast, and the story ends."
