Who Is Lagnajita Chakraborty, The Bengali Singer Accusing Rajesh Roshan Of Sexual Harassment

Lagnajita Chakraborty, a Bengali Singer who recently made an appearance on the podcast 'Straight Up With Shree' accused music director Rajesh Roshan of sexually harassing her. In the podcast, she talked at length about what exactly happened during the day of the incident and why she didn't speak up about it at the time. A clip of her talking about the incident was shared by her on Instagram.
Lagnajita Chakraborty is a Bengali playback singer who started her career all the way back in 2014. She rose to prominence during that year due to her song 'Basanto Eshe Geche' which was featured in the 'Chotushkone' and gained popularity through it. Chakraborty spoke on the podcast that some individuals had doubted her abilities as a singer, saying that she may remain a one-hit-wonder, but that in 2017 her song 'E Bhabe Golpo Hok' which featured in the movie 'Bibaho Diaries' also received a lot of attention and praise.
Since then she has done several songs for several other movies, such as 'Preme Pora Baron', 'Amar Ektarata', 'Tomar Chokher Shitolpati', and more. She's also been featured in a movie in 2014 called 'Jodi Bolo Hyan' where she played one of the lead roles alongside actors and actresses such as Sreenanda Shankar, Anirban Bhattacharya, Mir Afsar Ali, and more.
