However, Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap, 23, chose not to attend any of the Ambani's pre-wedding festivities. Aaliyah revealed that she was invited to some of the events but she chose not to attend them out of "self respect." HT reports Aaliyah saying in a series of her broadcast messages, "The Ambani wedding is not a wedding at this point it's become a circus."

Aaliyah then bashed out at Ambani's grand wedding ceremonies, "I was invited to some events because apparently they're doing PR (???? don't ask me why) but I said no because I would like to believe I have a little more self respect than to sell myself out for someone's WEDDING." In the alleged broadcast messages Aaliyah says, "I just find rich people's lives so fascinating. It's like oh we have this extra money, what should we do with it." Aaliyah's broadcast messages are going viral on X as a user posted it.
