Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who dated each other for seven years, got married in a low-key ceremony in Mumbai on Sunday (June 23). The couple decided to wed in a civil marriage at Sonakshi's sea-facing apartment, according to a report in PTI.

After their marriage, the Dabangg actress shared a series of photos on social media along with a heartfelt post. She revealed that she and Zaheer 'saw love in the purest form' on the very same day (June 23) in 2017. The Bollywood diva said that she received 'blessings from both their families and both their gods' as they took their relationship to the next level.

"On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife," Sinha wrote on Instagram.

"Here's to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever," she added.
