47-Year-Old Woman Trespasses Aditya Roy Kapur’s House With ‘Gifts’ In Hand, FIR Lodged Against Her

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur experienced a trespassing incident at his home in Bandra West when a woman claimed to have gifts for him. The police responded to the situation, highlighting security concerns for celebrities.

An unidentified woman reportedly entered actor Aditya Roy Kapur's Bandra West home. The woman, later identified as 47-year-old Gazala Jhakaria Siddique, claimed she wanted to present the actor with a gift. However, Aditya did not recognise her. Following a complaint by the actor's maid, Khar police registered a case against Siddique for alleged house trespass on May 26.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), Aditya Roy Kapur resides at Rizvi Complex in Bandra West. On May 26, while the actor was away for a shoot, his domestic help, Sangita Pawar, was alone at home. Around 6 pm, the doorbell rang. When Sangita answered it, she found a woman asking if it was Aditya's residence.

Unwanted Visitor

The woman claimed she had brought clothes and other gifts for Aditya. Trusting her words, Sangita allowed her inside. When asked about her scheduled arrival time, the woman replied "6 pm." Shortly after this encounter, Aditya returned home and was informed by Sangita about the visitor's presence and intentions.

Upon seeing the woman, Aditya stated he did not recognise her. The woman tried to approach him, prompting Aditya to leave his home and contact society manager Jayashree Dunkdu. Dunkdu then informed Shruti Rao, Aditya's manager. Rao quickly arrived at Rizvi Heights and contacted Khar police.

Police Intervention

When Sangita requested the woman to leave the premises, she refused and insisted on staying at Aditya's residence. The Khar police soon arrived and began their inquiry. The woman identified herself as Gazala Jhakaria Siddique from Dubai but evaded questions about her visit's purpose and origin.

The preliminary investigation led police to conclude that Siddique had unlawfully entered with possible criminal intent. Consequently, an FIR was filed against her under Section 331(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for punishment related to house trespass or house-breaking.

This incident highlights concerns over celebrity privacy and security breaches in Mumbai's high-profile areas like Bandra West. It underscores the need for vigilance among residents and their staff to prevent unauthorised entries into private homes.
