This Veteran Actress Makes Shocking Revelation On Husband Extramarital Affairs: When extramarital affairs are a deal-breaker in many relationships, this 65-year-old veteran Indian actress claims that it doesn't bother her. From their inter-faith marriage to the age gap, and her husband's rumored romances post-wedding; this Bollywood couple's marriage often became a hot topic of discussion. Through many ups and downs, their unconventional marriage recently clocked 38 years and the actress took a trip down memory lane to their 'quick' wedding and also addressed rumours of her husband's extramarital affairs.

65-Year-Old Veteran Indian Actress Breaks Silence On Her Husband-Actor's Extramarital Affairs

Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi's interfaith wedding had created a stir back in the day. The duo had met for the first time on a film set and got married after 15 days. The 6 year age gap between the two, with Zarina Wahab being the older one, had grabbed a lot of eyeballs. The duo had tied the knot in 1986 and welcomed two kids - Sooraj Pancholi (son) and Sana Panchoi (daughter).

The 38-years of married life had gone through many storms. Recently, in a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit, the 'My Name Is Khan' actress got candid about her marriage and addressed her husband Aditya Pancholi's alleged affairs with his co-stars, including Pooja Bedi and Kangana Ranaut, and others from the film industry.

When she asked if the affair rumours would affect her, the 65-year-old said, "I used to feel a little bad when I used to read affair rumours, but then I also laughed at them. I don't care what he does outside, but when he enters the house, he is an excellent father and husband. And that's all that matters to me. I would have felt bad if only he brought his affairs home. If I take all of these things too seriously and fight, I will suffer. I don't want to suffer, I love myself. (sic)"

Calling them mere "phases", Zarina Wahab added, "People think I am very stressed. They simply assume that 'she must be unhappy because Aditya is seeing this and that girl'. Nobody says, 'Yeh ladki dekh rahi hai inko'.That's wrong. This is all a phase which comes and goes. I never take these phases seriously as I know he will never get serious with anyone else, as he loves me a lot."

She further clarified that she had never thought of leaving him and she continued to be with her simply because of 'love'. "I am very independent. Even If I had to live alone, I have money and properties in my name, but in reality I never thought of leaving him. We never discussed this (sic)," she added.

During the interview, the actress revisited the days of their whirlwind romance which led them to their quick wedding. "We were working on the Nari Hari film. This was the time I met him. He was a very good-looking boy. He had a scene to shoot where he had to cry. He started to cry and didn't stop at all. We even had to stop the shooting for that day. We sat in the same car when I held his hand and told him, 'Don't cry'... He held my hand tighter, and within 15 days, we got married. Everybody said, 'She has married such a good-looking man, he will leave her in a week.' And look, it's been 38 years. (sic)"
